cauliflower orange gnocchi

this is a famous dish at a local restaurant, bar la grassa, that i’ve never even been to. it’s a rich, savory, and unique, usually a cream sauce would have lemon, but orange adds a more sweet and less sour flavor. the sauce is rouded out with chives, red pepper flakes, orange zest and juice in heavy cream. it was hard to brown the gnocchi and cauliflower as much as i wanted in a stainless steel pan, maybe i could do it with a smaller portion. either way, the result was great. now i need to get around to trying the real thing.
